    Vi snakket ikke på norsk. Per snakket engelsk hele tiden. Vi trente ikke å snakke, å forstå av høre og å laget setninger. I går lærte vi at vi vet ikke hva svarre på 'hvordan går det?' i full setninger.

    Jeg lærte mer fra webinarer og språkkafe enn (than?) i klassen.

    I enrolled myself for A1-A2 fast track course my acceptation was to cover content from basic. But most of other students of my group already has much knowledge of Norwegian language. Some of them has already completed hundreds of hours but joined course to refresh and some of them are living here from many years and they know basics already. Due to this reason level of the course was above my level.

    I think for A1 level, it is good to use more English in explaining the basic. I feel really bad when I don't understand what the teacher is talking about. Using English is helpful when 90% of the class understands or uses English as a common language.

    Personally, I think it would be beneficial to have constant feedback in the beginning instead of now. Anyway, it may be a good idea that students can give suggestions and teachers can counter propose learning or teaching methods during the course period. I like the teachers and classmates but I feel more could be done to enrich the lessons. I think if the students enjoy A1, they will continue and sign up for further levels as well. Also, they will recommend the school to other friends. I feel that it is good to go through reading of text as a class instead of just with another classmate. When you have two persons who don't speak Norwegian, we do not know if we are reading it right or wrong. Perhaps a mixture is good - E.g. The reading text can be done by all the students in class. Then the teacher can correct students' mistake and the whole class can participate and learn from one another. I almost quitted the course after the first month. I feel really bad about not understanding Norwegian especially since most of my classmates seem to understand well. Then again, students who fare better than myself have quitted so that came as a surprise. They mentioned they don't understand but I don't understand more than them! Anyway, I hope something could be done even though we are approaching the end of the course already. PS: It would be nice to have more interactive time as a class than 1hr reading among ourselves or 1hr playing games among ourselves.
