Kahoot, sometimes I was sick or too tired so I just wanted to sit in and listen, but I didnt have a courage to ask not to join Kahoot. The questions were also from Samaneh reise chapters that I havnt caught up yet. (Not really the teacher fault, I was just slow)

Also in the breakout room, when other students can speak Norwegian way better than me, it was a bit hard and embarrassing to have conversation with them. But if I got someone who have similar level then it was nice.

I think my Norwegian has improved so much. I am able to speak more basic sentences with people around me and started to understand more conversations.

How Anna Jelonek was ensuring great participation, nice balance between group chats/class learning and continuous learning of new grammar rules and words. Anna did an amazing job by making an online class feel like a real one. It was very clear that she cared about us actually learning Norwegian and not just counting hours. I felt a lot of progress even after a couple of lessons with Anna, it was sad to see her leave.

Unfortunately after Anna left, the other teacher (Malene) has brought different style, which has felt as more focused on going through agenda points than actually ensuring balanced learning. The class began to feel like a "pro forma" where the goal is to register participation and count hours. Most of the class is spent in breakout rooms where people sometimes are confused what kind of task they are supposed to do, not even mentioning that rarely anyone is there to correct grammar or help learn how to say things right. If you complete homework and go through exercises in the Kapittel set for the class, there is virtually nothing more to learn as the teacher mostly plays recordings or reads texts from the same homework, without attempting to engage students to read, ask questions or overall, participate. It is really a pity as I chose Lingu not because I only care about hours certificate, I came to learn and better understand norwegian in order to integrate better in the society. With the current teacher, I don't see a possibility for me to learn productively, hence I will be cancelling my subscription and not recommending Lingu to anyone who's is actually planning to learn the language.

Anna has helped me to feel braver in practicing norwegian in my daily life and in general, she ignited my interest in developing my norwegian language skills to a new level
