Instructor is very willing to teach. Her lessons are very engaging.

It got a bit challenging to focus when we had to do the course remotely. Teacher could be provided with remote-teaching tools for more effective lessons.

As we move more towards online learning, advancements could be made to remote-learning tools. Not just self-study material, but also interactive material the teacher can use in class.

The in person classes, the time the teacher takes to answer questions and correct the pronunciation.

The fact that it got changed to online due to the Coronavirus because the teacher is not used to online teaching and the classes are sometimes slow and less organized.

I really enjoy the course in general and my Norwegian skills are improving greatly! I know it is a special situation with the courses switched to online. It is a good opportunity for the teacher to improve their online teaching skills. I think it should have been recommended to all the students to try the other online courses with Kari or Milan. Then they can see that you need to engage and be responsive to get the most out of it. This would help to make this course more fun and productive online as all students would be more engaged. I think the pace for this course now as it is online should be a bit faster, but slower than the web-based courses. Often, we cannot finish the material in the power point and skip explanations on grammar. However, I do understand there is some adaptation for both students and teachers that needs to be done and I think Lingu is doing a great job! About the online material: It needs to be corrected. There are MANY ERRORS!! Eg. Fill in the words and one word is not there or wrong word is there instead / errors given when answering with a capital letter but not consistent (could be removed by showing an example first) / audio recording that do not match the exact text written (this is the most annoying and can be very confusing especially at this basic level!) / glitch where you can’t go back and see where you were wrong / words on the flip cards without an article (en, ei, et) when there should be one …. etc. I am sure a lot of students have commented this, and it should not be hard to change!

Nothing. I have learnt Dutch before in Belgium and the course materials and teaching was nothing close to this. Kudos!

I didn’t understand the way my teacher teach and I found her classes boring. I didn’t feel motivated. I feel the online teacher are more fun and engaging. I just changed my subscription to move to another class. I know more people in my class leave or changed for the same reason
