Private lessons in Norwegian
With private lessons, we work together to reach your goals! You will get a personal instructor who will create a course adapted to your needs, challenges and interests, making it possible to reach further and farther, quickly!
Private lessons, or 'one-to-one' teaching as it is often called, is a type of course that caters to your specific needs and challenges directly.
Your teacher will create a tailor-made course for you, thus enabling you to reach your goal more easily than when taking part in group courses or studying on your own.
You have the option to choose between a regular package and a package plus, which includes hours that are approved for permanent residency purposes, albeit at a slightly higher cost, so be sure to select the package that best fits your needs.
Schedule
You will create your own schedule together with your teacher and depending on your course package the lessons may take place either during the day or varying between morning and evening

You can sign up with a friend, which has the same goal and level as yourself, and you can share the class and split the cost.
New to private lessons?
If you are new to private lessons, you should register for an assessment lesson first.
That is a short ‘meet up’ with your assigned teacher so that you two can get together and create a tailored plan for your course. The teacher will contact you within 5 working days from the registration time. You will then set up a convenient time for the assessment lesson, where you will analyse your background and areas of interest, and you will talk about your goal for the coming course. You will plan how to best achieve your goal and you will register for the course package best suited to your needs.
How to register and what's next?
Select an Assessment lesson first. During this class, you will learn more about your own objectives and needs, and the teacher will suggest a path forward to reach these goals, and which package to choose.
For new students, please select "Any instructor in ..." and the appropriate location.
Fill in your details on the next page and your teacher will contact you within 5 working days to schedule an assessment lesson.
If you are an existing student who just wants to add more hours to your course, please select your preferred package and select your instructor from the list. The instructor will then be notified about the new course booking.
If you sign up with a friend or colleague who has the same goal and level as yourself, you can share the classes, and learn together for the price of one!
Please note that all references to an 'hour' are an academic hour of 45 minutes. A class session consists of 2 academic hours, ie. 90 minutes. The assessment lesson is 45 minutes.

Yes, if you agree with your teacher to follow the officially approved learning program then after finishing your course of individual lessons, you will receive an official certificate stating the number of hours you have completed and the language level you have attained.

Not at all. Private classes will be completely personalized according to your needs and requirements. This means that you can discuss the times and duration of lessons, and any variation in these, with your teacher, and choose what suits you best.
