What did you like most about this course?
Veselina tailored the course to meet our needs and to be relatable for us. This made learning enjoyable.
What didn't you like about this course?
I can honestly say there was nothing I didn’t like about the course. Veselina made each week engaging and enjoyable.
How was this course useful for you?
I have learned a deeper understanding of Norwegian. My reading, writing and listening skills have significantly improved and I have new skills to continue improving and to help with speaking as well.

Veselina always makes lessons that are both engaging and enjoyable. I often feel excited for lessons and motivated to progress my norwegian further afterwards
What didn't you like about this course?
I found Samaneh's Reise initially quite hard to engage with
How was this course useful for you?
I was looking for a course that could be tapered to my individuals weaknesses to help me develop my norwegian faster. Luckily, Veselina seemingly enjoys testing my weaknesses :) which although difficult at times has really helped accelerate my learning. Homework between classes is always structured based upon the development in these areas which I find useful to work through in my free time.

Having private lessons, the class is tailored to me and my language issues. And Veselina's patience with me is amazing.
What didn't you like about this course?
Its very expensive!
How was this course useful for you?
Having private lessons with Veselina we are able to focus on my issues for the full time of the lesson.

What did you like most about this course?
Gisle has done a great job at varying the things we do each lesson - speaking, reading, comprehension. This has kept things interesting. We have also liked how he brings our attention to words or phrases that are common which helps us understand more of everyday speech and helps us talk about common topics.
What didn't you like about this course?
When going through the Sammeneh Reise exercises and text, there was no way to skip through parts. Quite a bit of the text and a few of the exercises were very easy for us as we'd covered the topic before but it still took us a while to click through all the exercises. As a result, we've not done many of the chapters as our time is limited and we've felt it could be better spent on other things.
How was this course useful for you?
I've shared the lessons with my husband and we've both found that we are hearing and understanding more words when listening to or reading Norwegian news, films etc. Before we started the classes, when listening to things like the news, the speech just sounded like noises. But now, even when people speak at a faster pace, we are identifying more words and understanding more.

My teacher! She is so responsive to my learning needs and always willing to adapt lessons for me

I am a bit lazy, and should practice more. So, I didn't like my own attitude always.
How was this course useful for you?
It forces me to practice my Norwegian. I need this for my job.

What did you like most about this course?
Veselina easily makes the environment a safe space to make mistakes and is very encouraging.
What didn't you like about this course?
Didn't start off too well, no one contacted me after I signed up and paid for the course, I had to chance up administration to get the course started, then it was constantly interrupted until Veselina was assigned.
How was this course useful for you?
My understand of the Norwegian is improving, albeit slowly.
