The Fast-Track A2 course will give you a stronger vocabulary and a better understanding of the language. You will continue to work on grammar and technical aspects of the language as well as learning how to combine more words to form better sentences and a colloquial language.

Learning objectives for A2
You are starting to cope with social situations and you can use simple everyday language and knows how to handle short social interactions. You know how to ask and answer questions about work, hobbies, and other recreational activities. In short you will start to function better out and about in everyday life.
This course guides you further in your ability to converse in Norwegian, provides you with an understanding of elementary grammar, and helps you develop learning strategies for acquiring new skills independently.
Main learning objectives
- Speaking and writing about personal matters and general topics such as family, housing and personal finance
- Describing yourself and your surroundings, your education and your work.
- Expressing desires, emotions and commitment
- Handling situations related health, illness and disease
- Reading simple texts and personal letters.
- Writing about simple personal experiences and everyday events
- Using basic grammatical structures appropriately in the above functions.
Course duration
The expected duration for this level is 2 months.
Accredited language course provider
Lingu is accredited by HK-dir (formerly Kompetanse Norge). You will get a course certificate when you complete the course, which is valid for permanent residence and citizenship applications in Norway. As per the official regulations for online courses, you can be accredited maximum of 12 hours per week for all online learning activities combined, and 1 out of each 6 hours must be in instructor-led classes.
The classes
As a member of Lingu’s A2 course, you can study whenever it suits you. You have access to all classes at this level and you can attend as many as you want!
The Fast-Track Online lessons are held online twice weekly, and the Simply Online lessons can be attended on a drop-in basis and are available from any smartphone, tablet, or laptop.

Unlimited access to our e-learning platform is also included during the course.
*Please note that the A2 Fast-Track Norwegian course uses English as a support teaching language. You need to speak English at least A2/B1 level to be able to fully follow the course program.

This course is a subscription course, which means you will set up a monthly payment agreement, and your card will automatically be charged for your access until you unsubscribe. You can easily cancel your subscription any time from your member page.

You may study as much as you'd like during the Fast-Track Online course.
However, please note that according to regulations set by Kompetanse Norge, we can only credit a maximum of 12 hours per week (on average) towards your certification.
Additionally, at least 2 out of those 12 hours must be from attending live instructor-led classes. -
Yes, learning online with our Fast-Track course is very effective. Results can be different for each person, but we have many success stories!

Yes, Lingu is an officially certified provider of Norwegian language courses for adult immigrants, and our Fast-Track Online course is approved for Norway's permanent residency purposes.
Once you have completed the course, you will receive a course certificate with the total number of hours you have attended.
You can submit these certificates with your documentation for your permanent residence permit application. -
