Norwegian language tests

The Norwegian Language Test, «Norskprøven», is the official language exam for education and residence permits in Norway. The test is administered by the Directorate for Higher Education and Skills and is offered by municipal adult education centers across the country. There are usually 3–4 official exam dates each year. Registration is required, and the test comes with a fee. Once you have completed the test, you will receive a certificate as approved documentation of your language level in the following skills: reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
