    It was exciting to take my first Norwegian course, to be able to have access to resources such as the book + online exercises. Both resources plus the additional ones given by Hadi are really great not just for class now but for the future as well to practice with.

    For an A1/entry level language course, I found it difficult and at times frustrating that almost the entirety of the course was actually held in Norwegian. I understand it is best to simply hear the language you are learning, but there were many times where questions were asked for further explanation or something did not "click" with students, and everything was re-explained in Norwegian. Additionally, when changing subjects within a class it was sometimes difficult to even know when we changed topics as we were told in Norwegian rather than in English. So then when Hadi opened the floor for us to answer a question on the new topic, we wouldn't even know where we were. We had asked on a couple of different isolated occasions if it was possible to incorporate a little more english into the class just so there were clear explanations and clear transitions during the class but nothing seemed to change.

    Overall Hadi was very enthusiastic and wanted to do whatever she could to help. It of course is difficult having a pandemic occur and forcing class to go online after a few sessions. But I found myself lacking motivation especially towards the second half of the course as I was getting lost and it was difficult to figure out where we were at times due to my lack of understanding norwegian, which in itself was very frustrating and demoralising. I also can conclude that once a week for 1 1/2 hours is simply not intense enough for anybody that is serious about learning a language. I would prefer twice a week for an hour & 10 minutes rather than once a week.

    First few weeks were a bit uncertain (less structure). Also didn't like that it was only once a week

    Would like to have a well-define lesson structure from the first week. Two classes per week would be much better.

    Time spent on correcting the issues which normally occurs in online classes - sound clarity, microphone, file sharing etc.

    The time of 1 hour and 50 mins should be extended to 2 hours for the fees which is being paid. In that way we will have almost 3 additional hours extra. Normally we see that we lack time during key topics. These additional time should help to some extent.
