Lingutest - Oral Norwegian Test
This test assesses your speaking and conversation skills in Norwegian. It covers general Norwegian, with emphasis on working life language use. During the test, you will go through a number of tasks that reveal how good you are at understanding what is being said. You will encounter different dialects and authentic conversations from different workplaces.
Several of the tasks are designed so that you can make audio recordings and therefore you will need a microphone. You will also need a speaker or headset to listen to the audio tracks.
The answer will be assessed by an examiner with test subject competence and experience from teaching Norwegian as a foreign language. You will get one level grade on the test certificate, in oral Norwegian. The result will be sent to you as a PDF after your answer has been assessed. This will usually take 2-4 business days.
This test can be taken on PC, Mac or mobile devices such as smartphone or tablet.

- Idiomatically correct formulations
- Degree of complex language use as a hypothetical speech
- Creative language use
- Ability to listen to a conversation and reproduce the content in your own words
- Ability to convey and argue for a point of view
- Understanding of dialects and use of everyday speech
