    I like that the classes are interactive, especially the breakouts as you get time to practice what you learned. I am usually shy, so it helps me be more confident in speaking in front of others.

    I would like it if we could do more kahoots. I find it a way to learn that works for me.

    I think there are things that could be improved. I would advise others this course if the want to learn norsk.

    Small group.
    Good pace and a lot of oral practice.

    The audio (David's) isn' t always clear (sometimes it' s really weak).
    Also some students do not mute themselves after talking which is noisy and breaks the sound even more

    It would be helpful if the instructor would pronounce more the words and sentences.

    Interactive exercises of recently learned principles (David called it quizzes). For example, asking each student, in turn, to complete sentences from the book such as:
    By - Vi dra til ____
    Byen!

    Too many private group (breakout rooms) exercises. 2 per lesson seems, in my inexperienced opinion, a balanced amount or private group lessons. It's hard to be effective when all group participants have a hard time.

    We don't use the website for practice. And that's a problem for counting the number of hours. Maybe the instructor should use the website to give homework. so that we spend time on the website which can count the number of hours we spent on learning the language

    The course felt very light, while being very helpful. The teacher seemed to really understand that students need to learn things in class that they cant learn on their own, such as specific grammar rules, exceptions, very specific questions, etc. So the teacher was very helpful in always answering any questions anyone had, even if it wasn't fully related to the topic at hand. I've felt like I learned quite a lot, and I feel like I know most of the things taught in A1, with the only revisions necessary really just being memorizing irregular verbs and nouns. The course overall was very helpful and fun, the teacher helped tremendously and explained things very clearly, while also speaking a good balance between norsk and english during class so that we could understand. I am really looking forward to A2.

    I feel like more than 2 classes during the week could be better.

    Learning about the grammar and sentence structure.

    It was sometimes confusing to learn about the different dialects and exceptions to rules at the same time as learning the rules.

    It would have been helpful to spend a bit more time on complex concepts and less on more straightforward rules. I felt that sometimes we practiced one thing a lot, but then had to rush a bit through some of the other areas.
