FleksiNorsk Arbeid offers flexible learning with drop-in teaching available throughout the week, immediate course start, bilingual teachers, access to learning resources and AI guidance, as well as weekly updates and asynchronous guidance for continuous learning year-round.
Courses with a combination of asynchronous and synchronous learning (SO)
FleksiNorsk combines 'Simply Online' with synchronous teaching, offers extensive flexibility in timing, location, and content, and allows participants to tailor the training to their own needs.
The participant has access to the same asynchronous content and teaching plan as in course type 1, but here also with teacher-led, synchronous teaching. This is the most comprehensive and flexible course offering from Lingu, where the participant is free to adapt the training in time, place, content and progression.
Coordination with content in the municipalities' own courses
The course combines asynchronous and synchronous learning for modules A1, A2, B1 and B2. Teaching takes place in real time in drop-in digital classrooms. FleksiNorsk differs from Hurtigsporet in that the participants are not part of a class that follows each other over time, but all participants work towards a common language level across classes. In the teaching, you will therefore meet other participants from other schools.
The course program has a flexible drop-in schedule during the day, afternoon and evening hours as well as on weekends, all year round. The course has no defined start and end, but each level has approximately 50 different theme-based lessons that participants can participate in based on their needs, interests and schedule.
Below: Screenshot from today's schedule for FlexiNorsk B1. The schedule illustrates how the teaching is theme-based and takes place at different times. The number of lessons varies with the volume of participants. Currently, for example, there are 17 x 60-minute lessons per week in FlexiNorsk A1.
Coordination with content in the municipalities' own courses
The flexibility of this course means that it can easily complement existing offerings that participants have in the municipality.
The option for online drop-in classes gives participants an additional tool for synchronous learning.
In addition, the e-learning platform offers interactive tasks to practice language skills, which enhances the overall learning experience.
