The personality and approachability of Beate, which also fosters friendliness within the group. Very skilled and knowledgeable teacher- no question is too small. She brings context and experiences to examples. Very happy with her as my teacher.

I feel I struggle within breakout groups. I find them very stressful with the technology and feel time is lost just in getting set up. I works personally prefer to remain in large group and take turns in speech practice.

In addition would like access to an online pdf reference book.

I have really developed an understanding of the grammar and rules, thanks to having a tutor. Something the other platforms I’ve done online (Duolingo etc) don’t tackle. I really like the pace of the course too, as there is no time for complacency.

Having the chance to speak the language rather than just reading and listening.

Sometimes it’s hard to learn in the breakout rooms when we aren’t getting instructor feedback, since the other students are at the same level as me.

På hvilken måte var kurset nyttig for deg?

Speaking Norwegian out loud with others is so helpful. It’s also nice that this course breaks the language down into the basic grammar rules and the basic pronunciation before it gets to the more difficult things. There is a very good baseline that we are taught first.
