Vi øvd på nesten alle evnene, muntlig, skriftlig og de andre. Selv om var klassen så sen på natta, gledet jeg meg alltid til å være med

What did you like most about this course?

I like the most that I can practice both listening and speaking in the class and get more comfortable in the language that way.

What didn't you like about this course?

I would like more repetition to cement the vocabulary and grammar learnt in previous classes.

How was this course useful for you?

A lot of new vocabulary, new grammar rules, stepping out of my comfort zone, getting more used to listening and understanding other speaking Norwegian, having a conversation even if I make mistakes, writing different texts and composing arguments for and against.

What did you like most about this course?

There were many interesting topics, but here is something I want to emphasize: the teacher plays a big role in making the class engaging and informative.

I really appreciate the following teachers:

Solveig Rystad – Her classes are very engaging, and you really learn and feel motivated to speak.

Helen Talavera – She is very skilled, and classes with her are truly worth it.

Tove Emmy– I also like Tove; she is very dedicated to the topics.

There are also other good teachers, like Siri Anette , Beate, and several others.

What didn't you like about this course?

Unfortunately, I have had some negative experiences with the following teachers:

M***** – He often looks tired in class, and even while teaching it seems obvious that he is doing other things at the same time. A lot of time is spent in breakout rooms even when the questions are simple and quick to finish. His overall attitude gives the impression that he is teaching because he has to, not because he wants to.

Y*****– In the drop-in classes, her sessions are often postponed because she cannot attend, and sometimes we have to wait a long time. She also struggles to manage the time well. There were times when the entire class ended up being about her, and we didn’t get the chance to practice answering questions. It seems she is very busy and already has too many commitments. I hope the management does not assign her too many drop-in classes, since it is clearly not a priority for her.

It is very tiring to wait for her sessions, especially since they are usually scheduled in the evening and then the class ends up not happening.

How was this course useful for you?

Exposure to different important topics for the Norwegian exam.

What did you like most about this course?

The instructor's competence in effectively explaining various aspects of the language. The flow of the lesson: there is good time management, no "empty slots", and by the end, there is a sense of full circle and an instruction that has been well thought out and planned before the lesson was held.

What didn't you like about this course?

I can't think of anything in particular when it comes to Anne Helen.

How was this course useful for you?

Getting a better flow in the language, repeating grammar, and being more competent at discussing different topics in a language that is not mine.

Læreren er veldig profesjonell, og studieressursene er veldig gode.

Det hjalp meg med å bygge opp ordforrådet, grammatikken og lytteferdighetene mine

What did you like most about this course?

I like the daytime offerings on a specific topic relevant to my life and during the daytime hours where my mind works better, but for only 1 hour at a time. I also like how there is a variety in types of learning materials and approaches.

What didn't you like about this course?

When we first started and Sirine was the teacher it was very hard to understand her dialect. For those instructors with a strong dialect from the west I recommend they tone it down and speak bokmal as best they can.

How was this course useful for you?

The teachers have meaningful corrections for me and others on how we speak. And the small class sizes gives the opportunity for us to get more feedback and practice.

I liked the way the teacher handled the course, she is light and always positive. She also teaches in an interactive way and not only read the explanation in the platform.

What didn't you like about this course?

I would like to have had more writing exercises.
