This Norwegian course is for those who want to learn Norwegian online or from home, while still being part of a social classroom environment and following a qualified Norwegian teacher. Here you learn through conversations and activities in a group with other participants, and you receive teaching and guidance from a regular teacher.
Fast-track Norsk is our flagship course in Norwegian training at Lingu. The course offers a unique and engaging learning experience designed to give you the skills you need to master the Norwegian language and pass the Norskprøven or the Bergenstesten. Do you like to learn with guidance and support from a regular teacher? If you enjoy a well-structured study plan and quick progress, this course is perfect for you.
You can choose between two different course lengths, so you can select a learning pace that suits your schedule and goals. In addition, the course includes access to “drop-in” classes from Fleksinorsk, where you can participate in theme-based lessons whenever it suits you.
As a digital course participant, you also get access to Lingu’s well-known game-based learning resource Samanehs reise, which is interactive course material where you solve tasks and can submit assignments to your teacher and receive personal feedback – both written and oral. You also get immediate feedback from AI on some of the tasks.

Fast-track Norsk is now available in two different course lengths: Slow (16 weeks) and Fast (8 weeks). These options give you the freedom to choose whether you want a gradual and structured approach or a faster and more intensive path to your goal of mastering Norwegian.

Why do we offer two different course lengths?
We know that some of our participants have a busy everyday life and limited time to study each week, while others want to spend a lot of time learning Norwegian over a shorter period. By offering two different course lengths, combined with access to an interactive learning platform and drop-in classes, we give our participants the opportunity to adapt the schedule to their individual needs.

Does this course prepare you for Norskprøven?
Yes. This course is designed to prepare you for Norskprøven. You will practise all the skills that are tested – oral communication, listening comprehension, reading comprehension and written production – through a combination of group lessons with a teacher and self-study on our interactive learning platform. You will also receive regular feedback that helps you improve and feel confident on the exam day.

Our teachers have professional expertise in Norwegian as a second language, and each lesson is designed to prepare you thoroughly for both Norskprøven and the Social Studies Test (Samfunnskunnskapsprøven).
